Induction of flowering in Lemna gibba G 3 by Fe-EDDHA

Fe-EDDHA (iron salt of ethylenediamine-di-o-hydroxyphenylacetic acid) induced profuse flowering in Lemna gibba G 3 cultured in HUTNER'S medium. The maximum number of flowering plants was observed in a medium supplemented with 5 ppm of this chelate.
